Failure to follow global compliance rules and regulations can trigger severe penalties, especially when it comes to importing and exporting defense products. When Raytheon wanted to grow its export/import business and increase international sales of defense products, it turned to Raytheon Professional services (RPS) for help. Together, the Global Trade business unit and RPS worked on a new training program for EX/IM compliance training. They identified key goals and developed a blended, multilayered approach for this new learning program. A robust communications strategy supported the program, which has helped Raytheon reduce compliance violations and grow their international sales year over year.
